Philips’ OLED TV, applied with LG Display’s OLED panel, is available in two models; 55 – inch and 65 – inch. It features a quad – core CPU, HDR 10, Dolby Vision and DTS surround.

Bang&Olufsen과 SONY에 이어 지난 11일 필립스의 OLED TV가 국내에 출시됐다.
LG Display의 OLED 패널이 적용된 필립스의 OLED TV는 55 inch와 65 inch 2가지 모델로 출시되었으며, 쿼드코어 CPU와 HDR 10, Dolby Vision, DTS 서라운드 등의 기능을 갖췄다.
OLED TV models launched in 2017 have been highly increased rather than both 2015 and 2016. 16 types of OLED TVs were launched in 2016, while 30 kinds of OLED TVs were launched which covers that the number of products has nearly doubled from last year. By company, LG Electronics released total 10 types of products which are the greater number of products launched than competitors, and followed by Loewe and Panasonic with 5 types of products.
2015년과 2016년 대비 2017년에 출시 된 OLED TV 모델이 크게 증가 된 것으로 나타났다. 2016년에는 16종의 OLED TV가 출시 된 반면 2017년에는 30종의 OLED TV가 출시되어 전년도 대비 제품 수가 약 2배 가까이 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 회사별로는 LG Electronics가 총 10종을 선보이며 가장 많은 제품을 출시했으며, Loewe와 Panasonic이 5종으로 그 다음을 차지했다.
지난 11일 LG Electronics는 LG OLED TV가 국내에서 월 판매량 1만대를 처음으로 넘기며 대중화 속도를 높이고 있다고 밝혔다. 또한, 2017년 OLED TV 진영에 합세한 Sony가 큰 호응을 받으며 premium TV 시장에서 점유율을 지속적으로 확대하고 있다.
On 16th, Consumer Reports, an American consumer magazine rated LG Signature TV W 89 scores in the TV quality category. It was an all-time high, overtaking LG OLED TV(OLED65C7P) that ranked number 1 with 88 scores in the ‘4K TV(Best 4K TVs to Buy Right Now)’ category in April.
Loewe, Philips, Seiki, Metz, Condor업체가 합류하여, IFA 2016에서는 LG전자를 포함해 작년 대비 2배 증가한 11업체가 OLED TV를 전시하였다.
Loewe는 “OLED display thinner than a smartphone”와 “The most beautiful OLED TV in the world”, Philips LCD TV에서 OLED TV로 바뀔 것 임을 주제로 하였다. LG전자는 이전과 달리 OLED 패널에 HDR을 적용한 Skyworth를 전시하였다.
반면, Hisense는 자사가 판매중인 ULED TV의 우수성을 홍보하기 위해 작년 OLED TV 제품과 비교 전시하였지만, LG전자의 Skyworth로 인해 우수성이 부각되지 않았다.
