[CES2017] TV의 제왕-왕의 귀환

10년전까지만 해도 TV 시장의 지존으로 군림하였지만 중가 TV 시장에서 삼성전자와 LG전자에 밀리고 저가 TV 시장에서는 제품도 내지 못해 TV 변방으로 내 몰려 프리미엄 TV 시장만 지키고 있던 Sony가 CES2017에서 OLED TV를 가지고 화려하게 귀환했다.

Automotive display용 OLED panel, 2018년부터 적용 예상, 핵심 이슈는 수명확보

OLED panel이 모바일 기기와 TV에 이어 automotive용 display에도 본격적으로 적용될 것으로 전망된다.

CES2017에서도 자동차용 디스플레이로 flexible OLED가 주력 제품으로 자리 잡고 있음이 pre-event의 Chrysler conference도 명확히 드러났다.

유비산업리서치에서 발간한 “Automotive Display Report – application & market trend analysis and the market forecast”에 따르면 OLED panel은 2018년부터 자동차의 cluster나 CID에 본격적으로 적용될 수 있을 것으로 예상했으며, 화질의 우수성과 flexibility를 바탕으로 프리미엄급 차량에 우선 적용될 것으로 내다봤다.
