At 2016 IMID Business Forum having been held in Samsung-dong KOEX on October 26th, Senior Park Won-sang of Samsung Display expected that full screen market would lead next to Smart phone of edge designs.
Samsung Electronics lighted up that they recorded 7 trillion 60 billion won in sales and 1 trillion 20 billion won of operating profit in display business through 3rd quarter performance call having been progressed on 27th.
LG Electronics revealed that OLED TV volume of sales was enlarged two times than last year through the conference on the third quarter performance having been progressed on the 27th, and currently OLED TV occupied over 10% among total TV sales. Also they expect that volume of the fourth quarter will be increased two times vs. the third quarter.
During the 3Q performance conference call on 26th, LG Display mentioned that their investment ratio in OLED was 50% this year, and plans to increase its ratio to at least 70% next year.

LG전자는 27일 진행된 3분기 실적 컨퍼런스콜을 통해 OLED TV 판매량이 지난해보다 2배 이상 늘었고, 현재 OLED TV가 전체 TV 매출에서 10% 이상 차지하고 있다고 밝혔다. 4분기 판매량도 3분기 대비 2배 이상 증가할 것으로 예상한다고 밝혔다.

TADF (thermally activated delayed fluorescence) 재료의 선두 기업인 CYNORA가 현지 시간으로 16년 10월 5일 고효율과 수명 두가지를 모두 만족하는 새로운 blue emission을 개발했다고 밝혔다. 이러한 성과는 OLED 산업이 요구하는 청색 발광 성능의 적정 수준 이상 도달한 것으로 평가받고 있으며, 새로 개발된 TADF 재료의 상용화를 2017년 말로 목표삼고 있다고 말했다.

With these new achievements, the company is on track to reach the performance requested by the OLED industry. The commercialization of CYNORA´s TADF materials is therefore still planned for the end of 2017.
